about

Recorded at the Re:Flux Festival in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada wayyyyyy back in February 2014. The set was fully improvised, just guitar + pedals and the tiniest bit of voice. It had developed through an iterative process working with UK-based American artist Nicholas Johnson (nicholasjohnson.ca/): I sent him a recording of a 45 minute guitar improvisation, he shot some footage around London in response to that and sent me the video - we had a few back-and-forths of musical performance and video shootings. At the final performance I set the video going as a projection and performed in response to that. I'm in the midst of editing this performance for release and finally in talks with Nicholas on a new remote collaboration for early 2021!
