In 2016 I went to the House of Miracles to start the sessions that turned into Parallel Line. The first visit I tried to record a solo album, then JJ Ipsen and Marshall Bureau stopped by, laid down some fascinating parts on the demos I'd been working on and the whole thing changed course. When I came back we did a 3 day session where we were just improvising together and this was one of the pieces that came from it. One day I may resurrect this track in a more formal setting, but for now I'm just too attached to the particularities of what emerged in that session. I added a little bit of Rhodes and synth bass to flesh it out, but everything else is just what we did on the day.
