Gone & Forgotten (live at the Olympic Park, Munich 2017)

about

In 2017 we headlined the Theatron Pfingstfestival in Munich's Olympic Park. Our friend Nico mixed the band that night and recorded the audio and mixed it after the set. We'd intended to make a live video of the event in this beautiful outdoor amphitheatre, but the lights onstage and the cameras interfered with each other, making the video unsaveably flickery. It was such a great show, though, and it's nice to be able to share this little nugget with you!

lyrics

GONE AND FORGOTTEN

Stand out in the open when affect is low
Sit by your shadow, release it and know
We’ll make our own way, it suffers to show
Slip out the old way, was older, been older

Big on the ground
Pales in the sky
Bid last and won
We wait for the dawn to go away

Gone and forgotten, we still cling away
Thin skin dividing the bed from the clay
I don’t mean it all, don’t mind what I say
Gone and forgotten
