A demo for the Go On album track "Unfazed" - paperbeatscissors.bandcamp.com/track/unfazed

Recorded in 2012 in my old Halifax home on Windsor Street on a hundred year old piano our friend had left in his entranceway cos he had no way to get it up the stairs to his apartment. Me and a couple of friends stuck it on a dolly and wheeled it across the city. We got some good use out of it over the years, but after a couple of tunings the strings couldn't hold their pitch and after a futile attempt to give it away we were forced to take it apart (which was not an easy task) so we could get it taken away.

Where was I? This song was one of the first things I wrote on the piano, certainly somewhat about a car crash (and its aftermath) I'd been in a couple of years before. The form is pretty much exactly as the final album version, and lots of the lyrics, too, though there's plenty of stream-of-consciousness placeholders. This version actually was on a VERY limited cassette run ("This and That") that never had a digital version, and was kind of never supposed to, but, hopefully those lucky 50 owners will forgive me putting it out onto the internet!
